Yayasan Seni Dunia Tradisional (SenDuTra)--the Foundation for the Traditional Arts of the World--is based in Payangan, Bali. It was founded in cooperation with Dr. Robert E. Brown, former president of the Center for World Music, to serve as an Indonesian counterpart to the Center. Its mission is to preserve and promote the traditional performing and related arts of the Indonesia and the world. The foundation sometimes works with the Center in co-sponsoring groups of international students visiting Indonesia for the purpose of studying traditional music and other arts. Its officers, listed at the left, consist largely of distinguished artists who have worked closely with the Center for World Music, both in the United States and in Indonesia.

As SenDuTra continues to grow, news of its development will be available on this page

Please refer to the Flower Mountain home page for the information about facilities in Bali for students of the arts.
